Cultural and Heritage tour of the Mother City (full day)

This enriching tour includes visits to all the cultural, historical and architectural landmarks of Cape Town, the Mother City. You will encounter the Bokaap (the Malay Quarter) Castle of Good Hope (old Dutch fort) the Company Gardens, Houses of Parliament, St Georges Cathedral (Bishop Tutu’s church), the Rhodes-Mandela Building as well as the Slave Lodge.

We will take a cable-car ride to the top of the majestic Table Mountain, where you will have panoramic views of the greater Cape Town, Table Bay and Robben Island. After lunch (own account) we visit the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a guided stroll through the magnificent Cape Floral Kingdom nestled at the foot of the mountain.

(Please note: the Table Mountain Cable Car operates only in fair weather. We therefore buy tickets on the day, and our quotation will not include this).


Tour to the Cape of Good Hope (full day)

This is a wonderful day out, revealing all the natural beauty for which the Cape is so well known.

The day includes the scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard at the foot of the Twelve Apostles and into Hout Bay, where you will embark on a boat ride to see the colony of Cape fur seals.

After the magnificent Chapman’s Peak Drive, you will make your way down to the Cape Point National Park, where the cold Atlantic current surges past Cape Point to meet the warm current of the Indian Ocean.

In the quaint and historic naval base of Simon’s Town, you will discover Boulders Beach and the famous African Penguins. Lunch (own account) is at Seaforth Restaurant near Simon’s Town. We return via the Silvermine Mountains and the beautiful Constantia Valley.


Tour of the Cape Winelands (full day)

This day takes you into the charming villages and valleys of the Cape Winelands. You will discover the gracious Cape Dutch architecture and magnificent wine farms in and around Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek (the valley of the French Huguenots).

Both Franschhoek and Stellenbosch are full of history and quaint, boutique style shops. The tour includes visits to four wine estates with wine tastings.

Lunch (own account) is at a Franschhoek restaurant of your choice.
